We think of ourselves as not just fighters but bridge-builders in tax controversy. We are exceptional in the Netherlands as we integrate the background and experience of two professions. We are both tax specialist attorneys (Dutch Bar Association, NOvA) and academically trained international tax advisors (Dutch Tax Advisers Association, NOB).
Our expertise and experience in our own practices and those of our former tier one big law and Big 4 organizations have left us with a unique mix of advisory and attorney skills. This ‘scout mindset’ in tax allows us to find or create paths forward that are not obvious to pure advisors or attorneys.
Sometimes a balanced agreement serves the enlightened interests of our clients better than a pyrrhic victory would. But we also have a knack of winning cases in court where others even refused to take those on.
